Cancelamento da “IESE Conf. 2020”
O Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Económicos (IESE) comunica o cancelamento da sua VI Conferência Internacional “Conflito, Violência e Desenvolvimento”, que iria decorrer nos dias 15 e 16 de Setembro de 2020, em Maputo. A decisão foi tomada pela Comissão Científica do IESE, tendo em consideração a actual conjuntura de prevenção e resposta à COVID-19.
O IESE lamenta a decisão e pede desculpas pelos constrangimentos causados aos interessados que submeteram suas propostas de comunicação e/ou painéis.
A VI Conferência Internacional do IESE será realizada em Setembro de 2021, se as circunstâncias forem favoráveis.
O IESE apela a toda sociedade a seguir as medidas preventivas e recomendações das autoridades da saúde para evitar a propagação da pandemia de COVID-19.

Cancellation of “IESE Conf. 2020”
The Institute of Social and Economic Studies (IESE) announces the cancellation of its VI International Conference “Conflict, Violence and Development”, which would have taken place on the 15th and 16th of September 2020, in Maputo. The decision was made by IESE’s Scientific Committee, taking into account the current situation of safety and response to COVID-19.
IESE regrets to inform and apologizes for the constraints caused to interested scholars who submitted proposals.
The VI International Conference of IESE will now be held in September 2021, if the circumstances are favourable.
IESE recommends following the safety measures and recommendations from health authorities to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
